I worked with the Tacoma branch of this company for my move. Boris, Reed and one other person handled my move. I was re-locating from one storage... unit to a new storage unit with a different company. These guys were awesome. There were several unexpected mishaps but throughout it all they were patient and understanding. First we were planning to start at 10:15 am but the facility did not open until 11 am. Plus the gate code would not work until staff arrived late. I had never come across this and the website was not clear about this. Finally after packing up the truck and the movers left to meet me at the new storage unit; I turn the key and my car wouldn't start. I had to wait for a tow truck to take my car to the dealer before I could get a ride to the new unit to let the guys finish unpacking the truck. It wasn't until 3 pm that I could get to the new unit. The guys worked quickly and were done in 1 hour. I felt so bad to have tied up their day. As a kindness Boris even took off 1 hour from the time I had; they even asked about my car. These are the guys you want to have your back in a move. I plan to use them again the next time I need to move -they were so patient and understanding. They were even nice enough to pack my unit the way I asked. The last movers sort of stuck everything all over but I wanted my boxes where I could reach them and they even did that as I requested. I did take a picture with them but I'm not a fan of posting myself. I did take a picture of the nice job they did organizing my things.read more

Eco Movers showed up on the early side of the window they gave and finished early. This made it so we missed the rain that came later in the day,... which was great. They were courteous and quick. Prices are fair. I did request a special TV box for my very thin OLED TV and they didn't bring one, but they still transported it safely and had me turn on the TV to check that it was undamaged before they left. A big shoutout to Netzer Toralva who delivered our son’s items from Seattle to Spokane Valley on Sat. Sept. 9. Two people loaded the truck in... Seattle earlier in the week, but Netzer was by himself for the drive from Seattle and delivery in Spokane Valley — toting things on a handcart up three flights of stairs! (No elevator at the new apartment.) This was after the truck he started out in earlier in the day had issues about an hour out of Seattle and he had to turn around to return to the warehouse there, transfer our son’s articles to another truck, and restart the five-hour drive. After delivering our son’s items single-handedly, he had to drive the truck back to Seattle, so he must have arrived well after midnight. EDIT: Unprompted by this review, EcoMovers called me and asked follow up questions. I explained my concerns below and they took actions to make it... right. I changed the rating from 3 to 4 stars.They lost one star because they overcharged me for drive time. And you pay the full hourly rate for it. I heard him at the end telling dispatch to stop the clock at 5:30 for their return trip. That gave them 45 minutes to do what Google said would take 9 minutes. I got 2.5 hours of work and 20 minutes of drive time and was charged for 4 hours... I don't understand where that extra hour came from? At $200/hour, I lost a lot of money.They lost the other star for over contact. I filled out the quote request online a month ago, just seeing pricing and checking the process. I told them I wasn't ready to move and I would contact them when I was ready. In those 30 days I recieved 20+ phone calls, 20+ emails and 20+ text messages. It was really annoying. Always calling me in the middle of the work day "just to check".The service was fine. The guys worked quickly, though not very efficiently. There was only some minor dings on the backsides of some shelves. They were polite.I hope I never have to move again, but if I did I'm not sure if I'd use them again. Edit: After them making it right I would likely return.read more

We hired Eco Movers a second time to move us out of our Seattle condo to our new home about an hour south. Every step of the process was organized,... communicated and well executed. Julio was the lead on our move and he made the whole process look easy when it was not. The team unloaded our condo in 3 hours and we had a packed truck! The team met me at our new house and unloaded in 2.5 hours. They put together our cal king bed frame and moved all the heavy furniture and boxes to the respective rooms they needed to be in. Eric, Nehemiah, and Helaman were so professional and very careful with my items. I was kind of worried using movers bc my furniture is pretty pricey... and the last business that moved me didn't care. These guys carefully wrapped my furniture and were so careful not to damage it (even when turning the corner on the stairs) that I felt instantly relieved that they'd be respectful of my things. It took much longer than we thought and they were still gracious, respectful, professional and careful! They also genuinely seemed like really nice people in general which made me trust them more. Idk how everyone works at this business but these 3 gave an excellent first impression and I even remarked to my partner that I'm definitely using them to help me move any items I have from now on. Theyll be getting more business from me very soon. From the kind lady who helped me set up the appointment to Eric wrapping up the details for us and keeping us well informed, this was a great experience in a stressful time. Overall, I had a good experience with EcoMovers, but I had some issues. Some aspects were solved later, but I will need to paint a picture with... details. The quote was pretty close to the cost of my move, without considering tips for the crew and the insurance I added on.I was originally quoted as needing a 5 person crew for 8 hours. Of note, they wanted to have their workers back at the depot before 7pm after having their crews start at 9am, which I supported. I won't say the quoted $$ amount because EcoMovers deserves to make their own quotes and may change their prices in either direction later.To review readers that do not want to read further, my move did not go as planned, but EcoMovers was fairly generous, listened to my feedback, and compensated me for my troubles when I voiced my complaints with my issues- they even directly solicited my feedback from their head office. Details below.Firstly, they have an inventory estimate tool. Use this, and be as accurate as possible to make sure your quote can be accomplished. My inventory was judged by a moving crew member as "accurate", which is relevant later.The day of my move, the movers showed up later than expected. Their first truck broke down, so they showed up after 10 am. This pushes the 8 hour estimate all the way to 6pm, but only 3 of the crew go in each truck, so the first crew got started right away while the second truck was on the way. The second crew of 2 showed up after 12, as that second truck also broke down and they needed to be picked up with a new truck.The crews, when they got to my departing apartment, were very professional, efficient, and worked hard and constantly to complete my move. However, due to the mechanical failures and needing to be back at the depot by 7pm for a fair day's labor, they could not complete my move in one day, and we decided that the most fair result would be to extend the move to two days. EcoMovers did ask my opinion of this, and I more weighed the quality of life of the workers over my desires to have a one-day move. This was really only decided after 75% of my items were loaded, so there was no opportunity to unpack my wardrobe or some kind of sleeping furniture. My wife and I elected to get a hotel overnight and bought some clothes to change into the next day.Day two had a different crew, and they were also a great crew. The unloading proceeded as estimated, but with the complication of the crew having to go back for the second truck. To EcoMover's credit, they did not bill me for the second truck driving time. The second day was smooth, the crew placed all the items in their designated rooms, and reassembled some of our furniture in-place.In the end, EcoMovers also recompensated us for some of the extra driving time, the hotel stay, and the inconvenience of having a two day move that was originally planned to be one day due to mechanical failures. I feel like they treated me fairly, but I took a star off (I wish it could be half a star) because of their mechanical failures. The head office agreed that had there been no mechanical failures, this move could have been done in one day (in part, I believe, due to the accuracy of the moving estimate that I set), which I think speaks to their willingness to treat their customers well. We ordered a split-king bed with adjustable bases from Costco & it was delivered by Big Guys Home Delivery. Everything went really well from the very... first phone call to schedule delivery. I was referred to Eco Movers via another top rated moving company that didn't have availability when I needed it. I called Eco and Glenda was an... amazing first point of contact; she assured me the crew would be 5-star worthy and in the best hands I could be. Turns out she was wrong! She sent me a 10-STAR four man crew who handled the packing of my entire home better than I expected. Borus was amazing with Logistics and directing his team efficiently and smooth as butter. Andy, Lach, and Tommy man pure GOLD. They all moved with rhythm and the packing was done really neatly. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the customer service oriented nature of Eco Movers Moving. I am from out of town and was helping my... daughter move from her college housing situation to her post grad townhouse. I didn’t know any local companies but I got lucky by using Eco Movers because they were professional from the first call, to follow up emails, to a 30 minute call ahead so you knew they were on their way. They were hard working, friendly, took care of the things they were moving as if it were their own stuff. In addition, they were very nice and accommodating. The morning of the move my daughter’s roommate asked if we could move a sectional couch that she had that she couldn’t move herself. Eco Movers said they had enough room in the truck and were happy to help move the couch too. They were very helpful and accommodating! And lastly Eco Movers were able to securely store my daughter’s things for 3 days before moving them into her new place. I want to thank the whole Eco Movers team for making moving my daughter a painless process and a special shout out to Boris, Travis and Alex our incredible team of movers who did such a great job!
