Eco Movers operates a 22,000 square-foot storage facility, conveniently located in North Queen Anne — just 10 minutes from both downtown Seattle and South Lake Union. Our storage warehouse is climate-controlled, with 24-hour video surveillance and a fully-monitored alarm system. When storing with Eco Movers, you can rest assured your possessions are secure and protected at all times.
Unlike personal storage, Eco Movers offers private storage for short- and long-term storage needs. We place your belongings in storage for you, door-to-door service! Just call us when you are ready for your items to be delivered, and we will schedule a move-in day.
If you need to declutter your home or condo while it’s on the market, private storage is the perfect hassle-free solution for you. We can offer a place to keep your items during the sale process and deliver them — often along with the remainder of the furniture — to your new home.
This same solution works for clients with a gap between when their current home sells and they close on their new home. There’s no need to rent an expensive personal storage unit that you won’t need access to.
If you’re renovating a portion (or all) of your home or condo, we can store your items for months or years while the project is underway.
Many clients choose to store their household goods with us while they’re out of the country for months or years at a time.
Eco Movers would be nothing without our thousands of happy customers, who return year after year and confidently refer friends and neighbors. We believe in the timeless notion that the customer is always right, and we will do everything in our power to please you and remove the stress involved in moving. When you move with Eco Movers, you can rest assured that you will be provided with the most professional service and your move will be performed in an efficient, timely manner with the utmost of care from our staff members.
We utilize a vaulted storage and oversized item racking system, which is industry-standard. Our storage vaults are 5 ft. x 7 ft. x 7 ft., and can typically fit up to one room of items per vault. After your items are carefully padded and placed into vaults by our crews, they will be stacked and secured by forklift within our facility. Using this method is highly secure and access is only available to your items with the use of a forklift.
For larger items such as couches, pianos and armoires, we use a racking system. Your items will be catalogued and lifted onto an elevated storage rack.
Storage billing is handled through a automated recurring payment system. When you first place your items into storage, our staff will have you fill out our recurring payment authorization form and we will automatically debit your account on the 1st of each month.
Please note your 1st month of storage is always prorated and you will pay this prorated amount on the day that you enter your shipment into storage. When you decide to remove your shipment out of storage, we will prorate your last month’s bill and deduct this amount from your final moving bill after delivery.
Because we are a private storage facility, there are some restrictions on access and items allowed when storing a shipment with us.
- No liquid
- No food
- No flammable materials
- No ammunition
- No live plants or animals
- No soil
